Sideways chit-chat
Welcome to the old market town of Huttwil! At the train station you will be welcomed by your travel guide and provided with all the important information about your booked programme. A bus will then take you up to the "Schaber", a thousand metres above sea level. Marvel at the panorama over the Emmental and the Bernese Oberaargau and the view of the Bernese Alpine chain as far as the Faltenjura and the Alps of Central Switzerland. After a short test run with the scooter, you will be off on a fun ride downhill on side and natural roads.
Sheep farm with wool processing
After the descent, you will visit a stately farm in Schwarzenbach, which has been converted into a sheep farm with wool processing and offers an exciting insight into a craft that is not commonplace. On an individual tour you will learn many interesting facts about the origin, processing and use of the raw material wool.
Culinary and camel trekking
On the farm you can enjoy a delicious meal and, if the weather is fine, even a barbecue on the terrace with the finest meat, fresh garden salads, crispy farmhouse bread and hearty "Ankezüpfen". Camel trekking along an idyllic stream comes just in time after the meal. The hike takes about one hour. Back at the farm you will be spoiled with a fine dessert (meringue with ice cream and cream). Strengthened by the scooters, you will return to Huttwil and start your journey home.
