Viticulture in Central Switzerland
Welcome to the heart of Switzerland, to the beautiful and climatically mild Sarneraatal in the canton of Obwalden. Old field names such as "Wiibärgli" or "Rebstock" bear witness to the fact that the vine and wine have been at home here for a long time. The winery you are visiting cultivates vines at three locations in the municipality of Sarnen. The grape varieties grown are Regent (red), Cabernet Jura (red) and Solaris (white), which are new, fungus-resistant varieties that require little use of pesticides. The grapes are vinified in our own wine press in Kägiswil.
Tasting at the winegrower
After the guided tour through the vineyard and the wine cellar, you can of course also taste the wines. Let us serve you a delicious aperitif, such as platters with cheese or cold meat, accompanied by fresh bread.
