99 Flag swings
Like swinging and yodeling, flag-waving is one of the oldest traditions in Switzerland. It looks simple when the fluttering flags are whirled through the air with a serenity of mind. But before flag-waving can create this elegant impression, some knowledge and, above all, practice are required. Besides, there is not just one way of swinging, no: A total of 99 different swings can be performed with the left and the right hand. In this workshop you will learn body swings, plate swings and high swings.
The synchronous team swing
Under the guidance of a flag-waving professional, you will practice various swings yourself. The goal is to incorporate the individual swings into an overall exercise that will be performed as a team at the end of the workshop and also recorded as a reminder.
Alphorn blowing (optional)
Do you have enough time to discover more Swiss traditions? How about alphorn blowing? The workshop leader will be happy to bring an alphorn and show you in a trial lesson how you too can get a sound out of this instrument.
