In the workshop of the blacksmith
Under the guidance of the blacksmith you will make your personal Viking knife in this workshop. The professional will show and explain every step of the process and, if necessary, support you in forging, hardening, grinding, polishing and sharpening. The result is a simple small (not stainless) all-purpose knife made of spring or tool steel. Each knife is unique. Of course you can take your personal work home with you.
The fascination of an old craft
The workshop takes place on the premises of a horticultural company, in a dismantled old shipping container. The ambience of this "marine" self-made workshop is unique. Immerse yourself in this extraordinary world and discover an ancient craft that has lost none of its fascination. Experience how hard becomes soft and hard again and how the elements fire, air, water and earth help to create a faithful companion for life.
An unforgettable experience
Forging is real manual work. It requires a lot of concentration and know-how to achieve the desired shape in the short time of glowing with the power of fire and a hammer. To be part of this traditional process and to put your hand on the anvil yourself will remain in your unforgettable memory and will literally forge your team together.
