Build and design a soapbox as a team. The final race or skill course shows how well the vehicle works.

Your soapbox is created

In this workshop, your group will be divided into smaller teams at the beginning. Each team receives a workstation with all the necessary materials and tools for building a soapbox. In order to create the vehicle in a useful period of time and also to ensure safety, a proven kit is used. However, the body can be designed freely. Teamwork, creativity and skill are required here! If necessary, you will be supported by the workshop leader with words and deeds.

Presentation and option driver dress

The construction phase is followed by the presentation: Each team presents its soapbox. Don't be shy! The aim is to present your own vehicle as the most beautiful, best and fastest and to outdo the other teams with words. The final race will show whether your soapbox really delivers what you promised. If you have enough time, you can also design your own driver suits. The team with the coolest racing outfit gets extra points.

Test drive, final and award ceremony

Before going out on the race track, the braking system of your soapboxes will be tested. In addition, all soapbox drivers receive a safety helmet and learn how to steer and brake the vehicle during a test drive. Then comes the grand finale. A race or a skill course will show whether your soapbox only looks good or is also capable of doing something. The team with the best and fastest vehicle will be honored at the award ceremony, if desired with a champagne, prosecco or sparkling wine shower.
