Grilling like a gourmet
Let the grill expert introduce you to the secrets of the grill. He will show you how to make it work and what is important. How to marinate in a refined way, grill perfectly and serve appetisingly. You have the choice of grilling fish or meat, but you can also choose a combination of both. The aim is to reduce fear and inhibitions about "difficult" pieces of fish and meat and to experience fun and enjoyment when grilling.
Meat and fish grill course
In the meat grill course, the gourmet chef will tell you how to spoil your guests with delicious specialities without stress. You will learn how to grill the best cuts of beef, veal, lamb and poultry and how to combine the right sauces and side dishes.
In the fish barbecue course you will learn how to masterly prepare fish fillets, steaks and even whole fish on the grill. But they can also grill giant shrimps, scampi and crabs.
Sauces, side dishes and desserts
You can enjoy matching and special sauces and side dishes, for example a red pepperoni sauce with white balsamic vinegar, a chickpea mousse or a Sardinian vegetable and potato pan. And did you know that you can prepare fresh vegetables in the wok pan on the grill embers?
Even desserts are sometimes prepared on the grill, such as pineapple flambéed with Bacardi. There is also homemade ice cream.
The grills and the location
For about ten people there is a grill including grill specialist available. You grill and smoke on a Smokey Mountain Cooker, a Bösch Asado grill as well as on a shashlik grill. The workshop takes place on a large roof terrace high above the roofs of Bern's west.
