The history of wine in Chur
Did you know that Chur was once the largest wine-growing community in Graubünden? On a walk from the Bischöflicher Hof to the Torculum Wine Museum, you will learn many interesting facts about the more than two thousand year old history of viticulture in the Alpine town.
Museum visit and tasting
After hearing about the Romans, getting to know some typical local grape varieties and learning what a "Torkel" is, you will be guided through the Chur Wine Museum. Using the exhibits and a film documentary, you will delve even deeper into the regional wine culture. Afterwards, your new knowledge will be deepened with sensory impressions: You can taste three Chur wines and enjoy delicious Grisons snacks.
