Off to the fire brigade relay
The participants who are eager to extinguish fire meet at Brunnenplatz, in the middle of the historic country town of Huttwil. Here you will come to your first fire-fighting assignment (through the throat) and learn all kinds of interesting facts about Huttwil and the town fire of 1834.
With the antique horse-drawn fire engine and the old fire engine "Packard" we take you to the museum of the Artillery Association for a guided tour of about half an hour.
Afterwards, you will proceed to the second fire-fighting exercise, a relay race, where you will perform a sporty and amusing fire-fighting mission. It is recommended that you bring spare clothing.
Finally, you will stop for lunch in a cosy restaurant in Huttwil.
