Which team will be the first on the summit?
The game starts when an expedition team is put together which flies from Zurich airport to Katmandu in order to prepare their climb. With their arrival in the Mount Everest base camp, an exciting race against time begins. The weather forecast, route planning, acclimatisation, oxygen requirements, and of course the movements of the other teams all have to be taken into account. Your team gets an expedition pack and an iPad to use as navigation and communications tool.
A team experience for non-climbers too
The expedition requires the teams to conquer the Khumbu icefall, set up camps, build a suspension bridge in the Valley of Silence, cope with expedition food, and prove that they are up for the Mount Everest challenge in several other ways. Shortly before the summit the famous Hillary Steps lead to the thrilling showdown. Only two teams can climb the narrow ridge to the summit at the same time. Watch out! A radio message from the base camp gives the latest weather forecast. Is it still possible to make the climb? The tension mounts!
