Moasting as a group experience
Under professional guidance you will be introduced to the subject of musts. On the farm near Sempach you press sweet must from fruit of the farm's own high-stem trees. After washing, the apples and pears are ground with a small mill and pressed by hand. You can taste your fruit juice "fresh from the press" directly from the outlet. You can also try single-variety juices and choose your fruit varieties to suit your taste. The pressed juice (approx. from 3 litres per group) can be taken home in PET bottles provided.
A feast for the palate
Round off your must day culinarily. A rich salad buffet with grilled meats is a nice variation. Various breads, homemade salads, Swiss meat and fresh Panna Cotta for dessert are a real hit.
For colder weather we recommend a raclette or table grill buffet. For cheese, the buffet presents itself with three different salads, served with silver onions, curry vegetables and fruit slices. Gschwellti and bread are a must, of course. The table grill is complemented by sausage specialities and fried bacon.
The farm is situated in the most beautiful scenic surroundings. Numerous tall trees characterize the picture of the farm. In more than ten years of cooperation with the ProSpecieRara foundation, an extensive collection of old fruit varieties has been created. The fruit of these traditional varieties contains many secondary plant substances as well as a high acid and sugar value.
Characteristic for the farm are not only the countless high trunk trees but also a variety of animal breeds worthy of preservation as well as the event and seminar locations tree house, tepee tent and meadow wagon.
