Between the Water and the Mountains

What could be better than paddling peacefully across the water, surrounded by mountains? On a guided kayaking excursion on Lake Brienz, you’ll leave everyday life completely behind and immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural scenery. The tour starts at the Bönigen beach. Even from here, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. You’ll spend the next three hours on the water. Along the way, you’ll discover the ruins of a 13th-century castle, marvel at the rocky cliffs, and enjoy the tranquility of the turquoise waters. And, of course, you’ll also learn how to steer a kayak.

Group Size, Safety, and Other Considerations

An experienced guide will accompany you in small groups of eight people. All equipment—from kayaks to life jackets to wetsuits—is high-quality and meets the necessary safety requirements. No prior experience is required; this activity is also suitable for non-swimmers.
