Fun, performance and socializing are equally important in axe throwing. Small forest axes up to 40 cm are thrown at a wooden target from a distance of just under 4 meters. The bull's eye in the middle and various rings mark the points to be scored. An axe coach ensures safety, with one coach assigned to each group. He conducts a safety briefing, instructs the technique, leads a small tournament and gives helpful instructions.
