Introduction to axe throwing

Would you like to experience something extraordinary with your team? Dare to take on a fun challenge and discover axe throwing together. In the specially equipped hall near Lausanne, master throwers will introduce you to this new leisure sport. After initial instructions on safety and the technique of throwing, you will practise handling the axe yourself for a few training rounds. Then it's off to a series of games that will provide plenty of fun for your team.

Infrastructure and security

The hall near Lausanne comprises six lanes, which are safely separated by metal grids on the sides and ceiling. The targets at the bottom of the lanes are about four metres away. The axes weigh between 600 g and 1 kg and are thrown with one hand or both hands. The throwing motion is simple and does not require much force. You score between 1 and 8 points per throw, depending on how close to the red centre your axe gets stuck in the target. Some of the games are enjoyable, others are more competitive. A game lasts around twenty minutes. Your session can be designed to suit your needs and preferences. By arrangement, groups of up to 100 people can be welcomed and catered for.

Other activities and catering

In the 250 m² hall with mezzanine, you can watch the others play or enjoy free billiards and table football. On site, a drinks and snacks menu with 100% local products is at your disposal, including a selection of twenty beers. You can also drop in with your team first for just a drink at "happy hour" at the end of the day, and only book a gaming session on a second visit.
