Wine tasting and risotto cooking
Taste different local wines in the middle of the winery. We serve you cheese, salami and Ticino ham with fresh bread. The excursion to Ticino is rounded off with a classic risotto or pasta cooking. Your team will prepare the food in the cauldron over the fire, just like in the old days.
Winery Valsangiacomo in Mendrisiotto
The Valsangiacomo winery is suitable for large groups. Up to 80 people can taste 3 - 4 local wines (more on request) on site. Afterwards, a fine risotto is prepared by a local cook in the middle of the farm area. The participants have the opportunity to watch and participate.
Would you like to extend the excursion and stay overnight? For smaller groups, the winery has nine double rooms (Fünstern level), all dedicated to a particular Ticino artist and furnished accordingly. Larger groups stay in a hotel of their choice in Lugano.
Further activity à la carte
We can organise the following additional activities for your team:
- walking in the middle of nature, for example along the chestnut path.
A trip to Monte Lema (1600 m) on foot or by gondola.
- A leisurely stroll through the markets of Luino and Ponte Tresa.
