Drive through the Bernese Oberland

The Bernese Oberland offers so many natural beauties and sights that one day is hardly enough to discover the whole area. So be sure to be picked up early at your desired location and drive over the Brünig. Make a detour to the Aare Gorge or the Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge, visit the Ballenberg and the carving village of Brienz and then take a lunch break at the majestic Hotel Giessbach near the world-famous Giessbach Falls. How about an excursion to the Rothorn afterwards? From there you have a magnificent view of no fewer than 693 peaks.

Even more mountains and water

In the afternoon, the journey continues along the turquoise Lake Brienz towards Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. Get a view of the 300 m high Staubbach Falls. At the Trümmelbach Falls, hidden in the rock, you can see how the mountain water gushes out of the enormous glacier walls of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau at up to 20,000 litres per second. If time permits, you can make a detour to Isenfluh and take the cable car to Sulwald for another spectacular view of mountains and valleys.
