Ferrari Museum
The tour starts in Lugano. By bus the trip goes to Maranello to the "Galleria Ferrari". The museum shows history and development of the brand Ferrari. As a visitor you will see classic cars in the exhibition and get an insight into the racing team (Formula 1). The technical progress that has shaped Ferrari in its 55-year history is the main focus. Highlights are the exhibited Formula 1 cars of Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello.
Production of balsamic vinegar
After the visit, the tour continues to the "Azienda Malpighi", a vinegar cellar in the Modena area. The Malpighi estate is not only known for its famous vinegar. Wine-growing, gastronomy and hotel business belong to the offers. The visit leads you to the ancient premises where balsamic vinegar was already produced in the 17th century. During the tour you will learn about tradition and production techniques that ensure the good quality of the vinegar. From Modena to Lugano the return journey by bus takes about 2.5 hours.
Option cheese production
On request and depending on the timetable, it is possible to visit the nearby production of "Parmigiano Reggiano" Parmesan cheese.
