Guided tour of an Emmental fish farm
Emmental is famous for its cows and cheese, but fish are also farmed here! Visit a farm where, in addition to mother cows, zander live. This perch-like freshwater fish is kept here in an indoor recirculating system. You will discover the modern facility and gain insight into the production and marketing of the fish.
Apéro and meal
After the guided tour, you can enjoy a fine aperitif or an aperitif riche with farm-fresh fish and meat products in the cozy ambience of the farm. Afterwards, let yourself be spoiled by a wonderful pike-perch menu prepared by a top chef in the nearby country inn. Your menu could look like this:
- Leaf salad with pickled pike perch.
- Duet of pike-perch on dill cream sauce with fried potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Optional with filleting course
Would you like to be able to fillet a fish professionally yourself? In the filleting course you will learn the basics of fish filleting under the guidance of professionals. After the experience workshop you can take your fillets home vacuumed.
