Welcome to the Emmentaler Gasthof! After the welcome, it's time for a fresh start. First you will make two different types of dough according to a traditional recipe under expert guidance.
Then you really get going: Form balls and then put them under the roasting iron.
Shortly afterwards, the wonderful aroma of roasted meat is all around you and the first golden-brown roasted meat comes out from under the iron. You can make different types of cookies according to your desire, creativity and mood!
Of course, you can try your Brätzeli as you please or, as they say in Emmental, "schnouse".
By the way, did you know that the tradition of bratzli goes back to the year 1418 ...
Zvieri with coffee or frying pan for dessert
When the dough has been used up and the brätzeli are ready, we offer you a suitable coffee or a lunch or dinner of your choice to finish off the day.
Some of the brätzeli will then serve as a highlight with your meal. The rest you take home packed, so that your loved ones can still have some.
Further activities on site
For larger groups, we recommend splitting the group and then changing. Groups of 15 people each have proved to be very useful. The following activities are available on site:
- Spiess or fondue fork forging
- Visit of the distillery and the brewery
- Carriage ride
- Outdoor bowling
- Alphorn workshop
- Wine glass blowing
