Country at your event

Enrich your event with a band that will sweep your guests off their feet and onto the dance floor with professionally played country rock. The four passionate musicians of "Motel 7" know how to adapt their performance to the respective location, party and audience. They offer a compact and groovy sound, consisting of well-known and lesser-known hits from the country, folk and blues genres.

A danceable repertoire

"Motel 7" sings and plays a repertoire of songs, most of which can also be danced to. In addition to their own compositions, the most beautiful songs by Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, David Ball, Vince Gill, Eric Church and many other stars of the country scene are offered. These are stories from everyday life, which are told here musically. Let the "road trip feeling" that is characteristic of the band's repertoire and playing style take you on a journey through the vastness of North America.

The musicians and the band history

"Motel 7", these are four passed musicians with several years of band experience. The country rock band was founded in Thun in 2010. The name goes back to the legendary motel chain Motel 6, which has been offering cheap accommodation in the USA since the sixties, thereby enabling the population to be more mobile. At the end of 2017, the band reformed and hired an experienced lead singer in Eric "Rikky" Geiser.
