Experience on the lake
Start with your team with a relaxed welcome aperitif with soft drinks and snacks. You will then receive an introduction to paddling techniques from a professional dragon boat athlete. The long, narrow team boat with a drummer who sets the rhythm requires coordination and skill. Originally from China, the boats are elaborately decorated with a dragon's head and tail.
Dragon boats offer space for teams
You will learn the basics of dragon boating and put them into practice directly in the boat. Equipment such as paddles, boat and life jackets are provided. A dragon boat offers space for many people to paddle synchronously and build up speed. Experienced helmsmen with excellent local and water knowledge ensure safety and a coordinated experience.
Combination with team meals
The event lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on your wishes, and takes place in the summer months from June to September. Dates are arranged individually. There are restaurants and public barbecue areas in the surrounding area, making it easy to combine a meal together after the dragon boat experience. Parking is also available in the immediate vicinity.
