Experience an unforgettable adventure with your team. Instead of searching for emails and dossiers in the office routine, you will find objects hidden in the earth. In the middle of the forest, you first sit down by the fire, drink coffee and listen to the instructions of the event leader. You will be introduced to the metal detectors and learn where they are usually used. Then you set off on your own search.

Step by step to the treasure

Especially for people who are not particularly interested and versed in technology, the treasure hunt offers an exciting approach to the use of a metal detector. Slowly swing this over the ground until a signal sounds. Now you have to dig carefully. The tension rises: What do you think is hidden in the ground? In a moment you will hold the treasure in your hands!

Why in Thurgau?

The search for archaeological objects is punishable throughout Switzerland without a permit. This workshop has a special permit from the Canton of Thurgau, which is why searching with metal detectors is only possible here. If you do come across an archaeological find during this unique workshop, it must be handed in, but you can keep other finds and take them home as a souvenir.
