Carnotzet feast
Welcome to Twann, the wine growing village on Lake Biel. Here you can enjoy not only great wines, but also fine fish. In the rustic Carnotzet you can taste three different local white wines (Chasselas, Blanc de Noir, Sélection blanc) and enjoy fried fillets of egli (250-300 g each) with homemade tartar sauce and baked potatoes. Of course, mineral water is also served. Look forward to a formidable feast in a cosy atmosphere.
In the heart of Twann
The Carnotzet is a former wine cellar belonging to a winery managed by the sixth generation and used by the winemaker for tastings. Carnotzet traditionally serves regional dishes. The restaurant is located 50 metres from Twann railway station and 70 metres from the boat landing stage. The wines come from our own production.
Aperitif in the open air
If the weather is fine, you can enjoy an aperitif outside in the garden or even take an entertaining tour of the village and the vines with the winegrower.
