It's all about the sausage!
In this workshop everything revolves around the sausage, a food made from minced muscle meat and bacon from the animal, refined with salt and spices. Under expert guidance, you will make two different types of pork sausages yourself. The meat comes exclusively from the animals of the farm where the sausage course takes place. The sausage mixture (the sausage meat) is already prepared and is then filled by you. The individual sausages are then cooked according to the variety.
Tasting with fresh bread
All participants make two different types of pork sausages. This results in a total of around 1 kg of sausages per person. Of course you can take them home with you. But before you head home, you can taste your work together. The sausage is enjoyed with bread that the farmer's wife has baked fresh for you.
For larger groups
The sausage course is ideal for six to eight people. For larger groups, you can split up and also book a bread baking course with the farmer's wife or a guided tour of the farm. At the end of the event, everyone meets again for a meal together and to share what they have experienced.
Of course, as a small group you can also combine sausage-making with another activity, such as a guided tour of the farm or a walk along the nearby adventure trail.
