The Gorge and the Old Bath
After arrival in Bad Ragaz you walk along the Tamina stream into the gorge of the same name. Between the narrow rock walls the Old Bad Pfäfers suddenly appears. Today the bath house is run as a cultural and museum business. Enjoy a fine aperitif in a sophisticated ambience, learn about the former bathing establishment and the history of the gorge and then visit the hot thermal spring.
Lunch and other activities
A delicious lunch is now waiting for you in the old Bad Pfäfers. In the afternoon the gorge bus will take you back to Bad Ragaz. From there you can do various other activities. You have the choice between:
- cycling through Heidiland
- sailing over Lake Walen
- hiking along the panorama trail and tobogganing
- tasting wine at the Graubünden winegrower
The entire daily programme can be adapted to your wishes in terms of sequence, stages and duration.
The bike tour
From Bad Ragaz you roll past lush meadows, rushing streams and sun-blessed vineyards. With the view of the beautiful mountain world, especially the Churfirsten, you enjoy the bike ride to the fullest.
Sailing trip on Lake Walen
After a short introduction you set sail with experienced Walensee skippers at Unterterzen. As part of the crew you may of course help to keep the ship on course. Surrounded by the mighty limestone walls of the Churfirsten, you will glide over the water and put your own hands on the rudder, the lines and the sails. For groups of up to 24 people.
Hike with tobogganing fun
By bus to Unterterzen, then by cable car to 2000 meters above sea level. Via the fantastic panorama path with views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten peaks you walk to the start of the toboggan run. Then it's just a matter of: Off you go!
Wine tasting of the Bündner wine
A leisurely bus ride takes you to Maienfeld, in the heart of the wine-growing region of the Bündner Herrschaft. After a guided tour of a winery you will taste the delicious local wines.
