Let yourself be guided through a landscape that has been dominated by olive groves since ancient times and has now been replanted.

Walk through the grove

Near Lugano, between Castagnola and Gandria, the Olive Tree Trail awaits you. Stroll through a beautiful landscape where new olive trees have been planted among the remains of ancient olive groves. In the shade of the young grove, enjoy the magnificent view over Lake Lugano and learn many interesting facts about the region and olive growing. The path extends over 3.5 km and is easily accessible for young and old.

The Olive Tree Trail

The Olive Tree Trail is an initiative of the Associazione Amici dell'Olivo (Olive Friends Association). This association has been working to revitalize the area, which has been planted with olive trees since ancient times, with a marked path and information panels that provide information about the olive tree and its products.

If you wish, you can have a small aperitif with prosecco or orange juice and nibbles served on the ship.
