The Rhine and its herbs
Meeting point of your hike is in Eglisau. From there you will walk along the Rhine with the expert and learn about the medicinal herbs that grow along the way. You will hear a lot of interesting but also funny things about the partly so inconspicuous plants and learn how the herbs are determined, used and processed.
Making medicinal herbal products yourself
After the picnic, which will be served to you high above the Rhine, you can, if you wish, take part in the processing of medicinal herbs yourself. The course room is located in a former wine cellar of a farmhouse in Eglisau. There you will make a healing ointment, a lip balm or a small bag of medicinal herbs filled with aromatic herbs under expert guidance.
