A Tartar hat is a fondue utensil made of heat-resistant sheet steel with steel tips, modelled on the tradition of the Central Asian equestrian peoples. Different kinds of meat can be hung on it and roasted crispy on the hot plate. Such an occasion is ideal to loosen up a round or to get to know each other. This pretty country inn in the middle of the Emmental is not only the ideal place to hike, bike or simply enjoy; it also offers a beautiful and historical ambience. When it gets colder outside, you can barbecue in the cosy and originally preserved sandstone cellar. Enjoy tender meat, pineapple and french fries à discretion. By the way, the whole thing is not only meant for meat lovers; vegetarian variations are also offered.
Transport service
The inn is ideal for family celebrations or company parties. If your company is based in the Bern, Burgdorf, Belp or Langnau area, you can enjoy the pick-up service. The transport service is also available within thirty kilometres (Zollbrück area) from the station of your choice and back.
