Guided tour through the meringue production
Who hasn't heard of the delicious specialty that goes on every coupe in summer and refines vermicelles in autumn? In Meiringen in the Bernese Oberland, the master confectioner will tell you all about the history and production of meringues. Take a tour of the modern production facility, which processes 50,000 tons of sugar and 30,000 liters of egg white into meringues every year. An interesting and truly sweet tour. This company made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 1986 with the largest and longest meringue in the world.
A meringue gift is included in the price.
Make your own meringues
If you wish, you and your group can also try out the confectioner's craft yourself and receive expert advice. Each participant can use the pastry bag to make about a quarter of a sheet of this Swiss delicacy. The meringue is then baked and can be packed and collected the next day at lunchtime.
Large groups
If you bring more than 50 people, the event can be divided into two groups. While one half of the group visits the production facility or makes their own meringues, the other half can take a stroll through Meiringen.
