In this ceramic painting workshop, teamwork is at the centre of attention. This begins with the decision which ceramic forms are to be painted with which colours and techniques. Previous knowledge is not required - you will receive an introduction to the different painting techniques and during the whole time one or, if necessary, two supervisors will be available to help you with advice and support.
Coordinate and set up
After your team has agreed on one or more ceramic shapes and selected four colours and four painting techniques, a workstation is set up for each team member. This step is also coordinated and implemented within the team. Each painting place will be equipped with the following utensils:
- 3 brushes in different sizes
- 1 water bowl
- 1 cellulose
- colour palette with the four colours
- painting utensils for the four painting techniques
Step by step to the team plant
Now we're ready to go. First of all, each participant moves into a painting place of his choice. The ceramics that you find there, you label with your first name, then you wash out the brush and put it down again. Now you and your colleagues move clockwise to the next place. For a certain (predetermined) time you paint something on the pottery at this seat. This can have a reference to the person whose name is on the ceramic. When changing seats, make sure that you leave the work surface as you found it. The process is repeated until you arrive back at your painting place - and find a pottery painted by your team.
Cleaning up, aperitif and completion
Before you move on to the convivial part and enjoy a fine aperitif, clear the painting areas together. The ceramics you have painted will then be glazed and fired in the ceramics painting studio. About six working days later, the team works are ready and can be picked up by you or sent to you securely packed.
