The old monastery is an oasis in the city of Solothurn. Enjoy this exceptional place on a stroll through the rich herb and medicinal plant garden and learn some exciting history about the use of medicinal plants.
Processing in the monastery pharmacy
After the walk, you will process your own herbal products in the monastery pharmacy under expert guidance according to traditional recipes - for example from Hildegard von Bingen. These can be ointments, tinctures, extracts, oils or teas. You will make two products per person, which you can take home with you.
