The Wine Challenge
According to the motto "learning by playing - learning by playing", team-building elements are combined with the transfer of wine knowledge. At the same time you will taste selected top wines from the winemaker under competent guidance. These are the six disciplines of the Wine Challenge:
- Cork Precision Throw
Which team scores the most hits into a small wooden press from a distance of three meters ?
- root puzzle
Which team builds the higher tower from vines within two minutes?
They have 10 litres of water, various corks, bottles and a corking machine. Which team fills as much water as possible as quickly as possible into the designated bottles ?
- How old am I?
Taste three wines of the same grape variety and determine the age of each wine.
- What do you smell?
Mocha, rosemary, thyme, rose flowers? You will be presented with six different aromas and you have to determine them correctly.
- Judge wine faults
Corks, punches, vinegar? We will introduce you to the most important wine faults.
The kitchen duel
After the Wine Challenge you will be welcomed by the hotelier and chef with an aperitif, divided into two teams and briefly introduced to the kitchen duel. Under expert guidance, both groups will now prepare a 3, 4 or 5-course menu. The task is therefore to get involved for two to three hours and to conjure up a firework display of regional products for the Valaisian palate. In the evening, a jury of independent hotel guests will decide which team wins, judging the menu on various aspects such as the arrangement, taste, etc. An attractive prize awaits the winning team!
Cooking together promotes the team
During the kitchen duel you will experience that love for colleagues can also be deepened at the stove. Never before has cooking among colleagues been so exciting, fun, sociable and entertaining, but above all so team-building.
