Soap production in theory and practice

Welcome to the soap workshop! In this workshop of about three hours you will make your own natural soap with your personal colour and fragrance. Before the workshop starts, you will learn in an entertaining theoretical introduction everything you need to know about soap production, from the individual ingredients to the safe use of them. You will be amazed at the background of this everyday product. In small groups you will start boiling soap yourself. A fascinating process that appeals to all senses and requires some courage, creativity and precise work. A shot of magic is also included. After the work is done, an aperitif and a small feast with potato salad, wiener and bürli are waiting for you.

Ingredients from nature

Real natural soaps are in trend. They are free of plastic and preservatives and consist only of oil, water and high-percent caustic soda. In this workshop you will use high quality, organic vegetable oils. Because of the work with the caustic soda lye you have to wear mask, gloves and safety glasses during the practical part. After boiling it takes four to six weeks until the water and the lye have evaporated. During this maturing period your soap remains in the soap workshop. Before shipping to you, the quality or pH value of the soap is checked.

Her workshop leader is a trained pharmaceutical assistant and thus has the necessary professional background for handling chemicals. As a coach for communication and team building, the leader is also happy to address the individual needs of your team or company.
