From wine barrel to ski
During a few hours you can revive an ancient Swiss tradition. Skiing on barrel staves is not easy, but it is a lot of fun. Skiing on staves is also suitable for non-skiers.
The barrel staves are made by hand from used wine barrels and converted into skis, just like in the old days.
Our "Fassdugä" specialists will give you tips so that you too can quickly master the art of making the right turns.
The practice course does not require speed, but rather skill. We would be happy to organize a fun race or show you how to ski in deep powder snow.
Safety and equipment
Since these are very short boards, the risk of injury is low. Furthermore, steep slopes are avoided and the descents are adapted to the ability of the group.
Participants should be equipped with hiking boots, mountain boots, military boots or snowboard boots. Gym shoes or ski boots are not suitable.
