Fondue under the starry sky

Spend a pleasant evening with your team, your best customers, your most loyal business partners or with your friends and family against the breathtaking backdrop of the Grisons mountains. On clear winter evenings the starry sky seems close enough to touch. In these impressive surroundings, you can enjoy a delicious Vals fondue from the local alpine dairy. The fondue is prepared in a large cauldron over an open fire and, if possible, enjoyed outdoors, or in the warm bar in bad weather (or on request).

Here's how your evening could go

At 4.45 pm your group will arrive at the bar-restaurant Gadastatt. You can either go directly to the meeting point after skiing or take the gondola lift to Gadastatt between 4 pm and 4.30 pm. During this time, mention the fondue party at the ticket office of the cable cars to get the tickets for the free ride up the mountain. If you don't want to go down into the valley on a sledge after the fondue meal, you can return to Vals at 9 p.m. on an extra trip.

Groups up to 20 persons

For smaller groups (up to 20 people), the cable car ride costs a flat rate of 375 CHF (ascent between 4 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., descent at 9 p.m. or as desired). The fondue including mulled wine costs 30 CHF per person.
