Up with the snowshoes - down with the airboard
Guided snow bodyboard tours are a special experience. The bodyboard is small and can easily be stowed in the backpack. Once at the top, it is inflated and serves as a seat cushion for a snack or for sunbathing. Before the descent, you pack your snowshoes and poles into your rucksack and after instruction from the guide, the incomparable "flight" starts about 20 centimetres above the powder snow.
Suitable for connoisseurs and beginners
The ascent takes about 2 hours and with the snowshoes there are about 400 meters of altitude (depending on the place). Once on the mountain we calculate the lunch time (bring your own lunch) and the instruction on the snow bodyboard about another 1.5 hours. The freeride descent in open terrain takes about 1 hour.
The Airboard - the alternative to the sled
A whole decade of development has gone into the Swiss invention. It is a kind of modern and air-filled sled. Thanks to its low position, you can take any curve as if you were flying, upside down and head first. It gives you the feeling of flying close above the snow.
Compared to conventional sleds, the Airboard has significant advantages: Due to the large contact surface, descents are possible on groomed slopes as well as in new or deep snow without any problems. Thanks to the air cushion, uneven ground or jumps are optimally cushioned.
Everyone can airboard. Especially people who are not particularly inclined to sporting activities should at least consider a ride on the high-tech sled. An experience for pilot and spectator.
