Like being transported back 100 years
In the surroundings of Meiringen, at a beautiful and ancient farmhouse, there is the right ambience for the farmers' competition.
In groups, participants can get a taste of the various everyday tasks of the past and take part in the competition. The disciplines include, for example, making butter from a wooden churn, milking a cow (not a real cow) or sawing wood with a two-man saw.
This adventurous event can be held as a workshop or as a competition in which the various tasks are completed in groups over a period of time. Strong teams rather than individual fighters are required.
Eat like in the old days
Of course, the food is also authentic. Just like in the old days, guests are spoiled with home-made products from the farm. For example with Älplermagronen, the simple but delicious stew that was not only appreciated in the old days...
Also possible in bad weather
Whether the weather is good or bad - the cozy farmhouse has enough space to carry out activities in the dry.
