After a short introduction to fencing and the three sport weapons epee, foil and sabre you will try your hand at free fencing.

Fencing with the master

Welcome to the fencing hall! Before the real thing begins and the blades are crossed, you put on your protective clothing. Then the fencing master, a true legend in his field, will give you a theoretical introduction to the sport of fencing, explain the three types of weapons and prepare you for the practical part. You do not need any previous knowledge to participate in this team fencing. Just bring some curiosity, everything else will follow by itself!

This is how the event works

First you learn to move fencing and get a short basic training in epee fencing. After that you will compete against your colleagues for the first time. During these exercises you will constantly receive practical tips from the maître. You will experience a lot of fun and maybe even discover your fencing talent. To round things off, you can have a fine aperitif organised for you if you wish.

Why fence?

In addition to the sporting aspects such as speed, condition, reaction and motor skills, fencing also promotes skills that play a crucial role in everyday working life: Will, intuition, tactical behaviour, mental strength and the ability to make split-second decisions. Perhaps that is why this fencing event has enjoyed great popularity among companies, teams and private groups of all kinds for many years.
