Discover the trendy drink gin

The world of gin is fascinatingly wide and varied, and it's been getting bigger and bigger for a few years now. From Europe to Africa to Asia, new gin brands are emerging with local ingredients and regional flavours. You can experience this diversity at the Gin Tasting in the middle of Bern. The event lasts two to three hours. Depending on your interests and previous knowledge, you can discover the gin culture of Switzerland or brands from all over the world. Premium varieties matured in barrels as well as a selection of new creations await connoisseurs and aficionados.

Background knowledge and tasting

After your arrival at the bar, you will learn about the history and production of the well-known juniper schnapps over a welcome drink. Then it's time for tasting. Together with a gin expert, you will taste six to seven varieties. Marvel at the different nuances of taste and finally enjoy a classic gin and tonic or a pure shot of your favourite.

The restaurant in Bern

The tasting will take place in a bar that is only a four-minute walk from Bern's main train station. The bar offers a huge selection of gin and whisky varieties as well as fantastic cocktails and great bar food. How about combining the tasting with an aperitif and/or dinner afterwards?
